Dear PSYC Major:

This map is a term-by-term sample course schedule for 'Face to Face' psychology students. The milestones listed below each term are designed to keep you on course to graduate in four years. Two sample schedules are provided as a general guideline to help you build a full schedule each term. These are provided as examples, however, it is most important to work with your advisor for couse  selections. The elective courses must be selected with your advisor to satisfy all Georgia requirements, the core curriculum, required lab sciences, and any multicultural requirements.

A major in psychology is not only an exciting and popular undergraduate major or minor at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and around the country, but it is also one of the most useful. Undergraduate psychology training assists in preparing students for a number of career alternatives in government, business, industry, etc. It also assists in preparing students for professional or graduate school in psychology, law, physical or occupational therapy, social work, business, education, and other areas.

Upon acceptance into the program, students then follow a schedule of their major classes during their junior and senior years. Upon graduation, they receive a BA in Psychology.
