Public Administration Graduate Certificate Programs
Public Administration Graduate Certificate Programs
Not ready to go to graduate school, but hungering for more education? Want to kick-start or reinvigorate your career? Consider enrolling in one of our new certificate programs offered by the Graduate School of Public Administration. This is a great opportunity to get the education you want without a commitment to a degree program. If you enjoy the coursework, you can apply hours earned toward our MPA, if you later decide to enroll in our program. The programs have been developed to provide education that will enable working public sector professionals to enhance their knowledge about public administration and to provide opportunities to those in other fields who want and need additional education in the field of public administration.
Each certificate program is only 12 credit hours - four courses - two core courses in the concentration area and two electives from a set list of courses. We have three programs of study to select from: Public Management, Non-Profit Management, and Public Sector Human Resource Managemen certificates.
General requirements for admission to the Graduate Certificate Program are a bachelor's degree from an accredited or approved college or university and application to the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Graduate School. No admissions tests are required; however, students who later decide to apply hours toward the MPA degree will be required to formally apply to the Graduate School.
