Management
The management major provides skills necessary for success in a wide variety of organizations. Motivating people, communicating effectively, integrating technology, using data, critical thinking, and understanding other cultures prepare students for the demands of the 21st century. The minor in Human Resources allows business majors to gain in-depth knowledge of these areas. The minor in Entrepreneurship provides non-business majors the basic skills to successfully start and manage a business.
Management graduates move into positions of responsibility in large and small organizations. They are prepared for careers in manufacturing, retail, and service industries as well as government and not-for-profit organizations.
