What You'll Learn

In the Education Specialist program, you will develop a coaching philosophy centered around ethical conduct and behavior while focusing on the safety and well-being of the athlete. Particular attention will be given to developing an ability to recognize inherent risks of unsafe equipment, facilities, and conditions during high-risk activities. Also, before completion of the program, you will develop a capstone project unique to the needs of your specific sports program and use statistical analysis to determine the relevance of the findings.
