Ted Geltner received a B.A. from Lehigh University in Political Science followed by a Master’s and PhD from University of Florida in Communications and Journalism. He plans to publish a book in 2016: Blood, Bone and Marrow: A Biography of Harry Crews, and Sport in Los Angeles. He is the current editorial adviser for The Spectator, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s award-winning multi-media news organization. His main research interests are in Sports History and all aspects of American Journalism. Because of this, he teaches an Introduction to Sports Journalism course, which allows students to jump onto the sports-media bandwagon. He is very student-oriented and demonstrates this in his teaching style and practices: "I try to help students learn to communicate, follow their dreams and make a true difference in the world."
