Lynette Hepburn-Richardson serves as the Career Evaluation Counselor liaison for several Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø colleges, including Business, Nursing and Health Sciences, Science and Math, Social Work, and Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys seeing students’ acchieve their goals and values ongoing career planning.
With over 30 years in international business and entrepreneurship, Lynette has spent a decade in various higher education roles at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and South Georgia State University. She actively participates in Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø committees such as Assessent and the Mental Health Task Force. She is the advisor for CARIBSA, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS).
Nationally, Lynette is involved in the NCDA Higher Education Constituency Group and GACE Career Fair Committee, where her sub-committee secured a $10,000 grant for career development research. She has also served on the Quitman/Brooks County Tourism Initiative Board and as Campaign Coordinator for the Obama for Georgia Office. Additionally, Lynette contributes to IndigoLife Women’s Board and magazine, and has led workshops and conducted research on career counseling best practices.
