Dr. Jamie Landau is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT), which supports Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø faculty as teachers, scholars, practitioners, and leaders throughout their career stages. She also oversees the Center for eLearning.
CELT-eLearning offers a range of educational programming: faculty development retreats, faculty learning communities, instructional consultations, online course design, a university-wide peer faculty mentor program, and customized webinars/workshops that address pedagogical needs of an academic program, specific career stages/employee cohorts, strategic planning initiatives, current issues in higher education, or cutting-edge technologies (e.g., experiential learning and high-impact practices, online teaching, faculty burnout, department head training).
In addition, Dr. Landau is a tenured full Professor in the Department of Communication Arts at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Her recent scholarship examines faculty/employee development and teaching/learning. Since graduate school, she has researched and taught about communication related to gender/sexuality, health/medicine, and affect/emotion.
