Brian Ward received his M.A. in English (Rhetoric/Composition) from Florida State University in 2001. His interests center around rhet/comp, voice recognition, and Medieval and Renaissance Literature. Because of his interest in rhetoric and composition, Professor Ward primarily teaches ENGL 1101 and 1102 classes. He has published articles in The Kudzu Review in 1999 and in the Odradek in 2014. His teaching philosophy is very student-centric as he says that "every student has an ability to write; it is my job to help them find and hone that ability."
